Fokai Femme Achievers are all about giving back to the community and helping protect the environment. We held our first of many beach clean ups on February 18th and it was an overall success. Not only we were joined by so many friends and family members ready to lend a hand, but also by Femme Achiever superstar, Peggy Denney. Peggy provided everyone who attended with correct recycling know hows! It seems while we were all prepared for the physical work it took to clean up, most of us fell short on what to with the trash and recycles we collected. But thanks to Peggy, we left the that day ready to take on saving the planet, one beach at a time. Along with the cleanup, through generous donations, we planted many miscellaneous plants and trees along the beach. We encourage everyone who wants to do something to make a difference to join us.
